"Where is God when it hurts?"
"He is in you, the one hurting, not in it, the thing that hurts."

Worth

Many times, we place our self worth in things. These things may be our achievements in life, our career, the amount of wealth we have, the clothes we wear, the cars we drive, the schools we attend, the praises we receive from others...

And one day, when we lose all of these things, we start to think that we are worthless. It is then that we reduce ourselves to nothing.

However, I came to realise that our lives are worth much more than what we think it is worth. It is worth so much that God gave His only son's life in exchange for ours. Someone died so that we can live. Now, how much are you worth?

You are worth the life of Christ.

Attended my cousin's wedding..
Here are the newly weds.
Very sweet husband who sang a song to her during the wedding banquet dinner that brought her close to tears. I can really see that they are very much in love and I am sure they have a lot to look forward too.

Love really Grows, Changes and Dies =( Just like human beings on this earth, we also Grow, Change and then Die. I don't believe anyone on this earth can love someone today and still love the person the same forever and ever. The love we have for others will never remain the same. I know some may argue that our love can become stronger, we can be more in love than before, we can fall head over heels all over again, we can reignite the passion we have just like when we first met... but is there ever a guarantee that all these will happen? What about those we broke up after many years in a relationship? What about those who divorced? What about those who no longer talk to their spouses although they are living under the same roof? Love is really more fragile than it already seems to be.
Just when I was feeling sorry for myself for having to live on a planet in the universe where there is no everlasting love. I decided to ask God what is love, and what is His love for us is like.. After all, I always felt that I have never truly understood what His love for me is like as I always thought it to be too complicated for me to understand, and I always leave it as that.
And I got my answers in Romans 8: 38-39
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow- not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Hence, I came to realise that God's love for us unlike the "Human being love" never changes. He have loved us ever since the beginning of time and it will remain the same till eternity. Its amazing to know that there exist such a powerful love that will never stop loving the way it did just like before.
And yes! all hope is not lost! God is the same yesterday, today and forever more. And His love for us is the same yesterday, today and forever more. Amen!
